Clement Sauve - comic book artists, X-Men, Stormwatch, Tom Strong, Team Achilles

Born and raised in Montreal, Clement Sauve started his comic book career working as an assistant to Yanick Paquette’s cat.  He then moved on to working as an assistant to Yanick Paquette, until years of sending submissions finally landed him his first job, Human Defense Corps for DC Comics.  Since then he has worked on Stormwatch, done various covers and is currently working on Infantry for Devil’s due Aftermath line.  Whenever he is not scrapping his scalp which is falling apart from stress, he’s furiously trying to get a few sketches done for his own book, playing videogames and watching infomercials.

Thanks to Yanick Paquette, Eric Canete, Dan Norton, Brandon Peterson, Mike Mignola, Kevin Nolan, Jim Lee, Carlos D’anda, Jean Giraud and Masamune Shirow, who have with or without their knowledge, inspired and influenced me.  When I bust my ass, it’s because those people have set the bar so high.
