Clement Sauve - comic book artists, X-Men, Stormwatch, Tom Strong, Team Achilles

Hey folks, it's been a REALLY long time since the last update so I'll
try to make this worth the wait. For those who missed the Free Comic
Book Day Pantheon City prequel, it's now available in the Pantheon
City section. As for the rest of the update, well, look around,
there's new stuff in the various and sketches sections from various
project in both comics and animation.

I'm busy as hell at the moment, and I know there's a few of you out
there waiting for me to get back to you about my availability to do
commissions, so I'm sorry about that, but I do have a very good
excuse.  I can't say what it is yet, but let's just say I can't seem
to escape robots, even when I work outside of comics :)

I'd like to thank the Peru brothers for their hospitality and for
everything they did for us when we stopped by their place in Paris a
few weeks ago.  Yes they took us in, Yanick Paquette, Serge Lapointe,
Eric Theriault and me, and for a few days, shared their spacious
apartment, coffee, cookies and chocolate bread with us. Also, big
thanks to the everybody involved with the Festival de la BD
d'Andenne, especially Bernard for inviting us, and I'd also like to
thank Thierry and his family for opening their house to us.  We all
had a great time, and hopefully we'll see you all next year. And
while I'm at it,  I'd also like to thank everybody at SCAD,
especially John Lowe for inviting me to come down there and assuming
I'd be able to give a 3 hour workshop and Vanessa who dragged my ass
around town for 4 days. I had a really great time and met a lot of
cool people and learned an important lesson:  you don't kick a door
in when you don't know if there's a guy on the other side, isn't that
right Dominic ? :)

Finally, I've been meaning to add a "links" section, but Sylvain (the
guy without who this website wouldn't exist) is busy enough as it
is.  So, let's keep it simple, here's a few links you should be
clicking on.

www.blur.com    best computer animation studio out there, period.
http://kahnehteh.blogspot.com/    Eric Canete's blog.  Unlimited
source of inspiration and coolness. Also, buy Iron Man, Enter the
Mandarin while you're at it, it rocks.
www.kickstandkids.com    Chris Brunner's website.  Seriously, leave
my website right now and go look at his.

See you all on facebook, and I'm warning you, don't take this the
wrong way, but I'm not accepting pillow fights invitations from dudes :)

Hey Folks, once again it's been a while since the last update, but I've been really busy these last few months with the holidays, Angouleme and the Free Comic Book Day story I just finished for my upcoming Dark Horse mini-serie, Pantheon city.

Angouleme was a blast, mostly thanks to Olivier Peru and  all the cool people I met there. The festival itself was ok, but the Soleil booth was awesome and the fans were great.  I have to thank all the people at Soleil for taking such great care of us, and special thanks go to Clotilde for forcing me to take a break and taking me around the con to make sure I bought a bunch of cool stuff and also to Audrey for finding me that extra chocolate mousse on Saturday.  Take it from me people, if there's something better than chocolate mousse, it's eating chocolate mousse while everybody else around you is eating a fruit cup.

there's a bunch of new stuff in a couple of sections: 3 Gijoe covers (including one that didn't make the cut), an illustration i did with Stephane Peru (colorist of Ultimate x-men) for Les Filles de Soleil, 2 Pantheon City back covers, and 3 pages of Pantheon City (2 of line art, one with full lettering and color). I wish I could post more pages of that Free Comic Book Day story because it's by far the best stuff I've ever done and the best colors I've ever had, but I guess you'll have to buy the book if you wanna see the rest.  Well, not actually BUY the book, just pick it up, cause it's free :)

BTW, if any of the people I did sketch for in Angouleme are reading this, don't hesitate to send me scans of the sketch I did in your book.  When I have enough I'll do a special section just for them.  Thanks!

It's be a long time comin', but here's an update. A few things have been added to the covers and various sections, but the major update is the 2 new sections, Blackbank and concept art.  Check those out to see pencils from my upcoming book, and sketches for a project called the Iron and the Maiden.

As most of you probably know from reading it on Newsarama and CBR, my next project will be Pantheon city, a creator owned book written by Ron Marz and published by Dark horse.  It'll be the first project for which I'll be both penciling and inking, and it will be colored by the fantastic Stephane Peru who just finished coloring Yanick Paquette's X-men Civil War serie.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey folks, it's been a few months since the last update, I've been working my ass off on Blackbank and have barely had time to draw anything besides that.  I can't put any of those pages online at the moment, but there are a few new things in the sketches section They're designs for what I hope will be my next project.

Also, I've been getting demands for commissions, so I've decided to start doing them, starting, well, right now.  Feel free to contact me to inquire about prices, or if you'd like to know the price of any pics on this website.  If you'd like an idea of what commissions look like, here's the first one
